NAIOP Wisconsin is a Chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. Founded in 1967, NAIOP has become the leading organization for developers, owners, and investors of office, industrial, retail, multi-family, and mixed-use real estate. NAIOP represents nearly 20,000 members and provides strong public policy advocacy, education, and business opportunities through a powerful North American network.
NAIOP Wisconsin was chartered in 2003 by industry leaders led by Jerry Franke, Mark Irgens, and Mike Mooney. Today the Chapter represents nearly 400 individual members working at more than 150 businesses across Wisconsin. We offer a strong network to build your pipeline, integrated, in-depth, and industry-specific education and informational programs, and a power public policy advocacy program.

Developing Leaders Committee
Co-Chairs: Carole Schaeffer, Friede & Associates; Chris Valcheff, True North Consultants
The Madison Committee is a new standing committee and will work to develop local NAIOP programming for South Central Wisconsin. The committee will be responsible for identifying and recruiting new members, planning and hosting local/regional events, and collaborating with the Board to ensure this growing constituency receives a strong return on their membership investment and NAIOP is well represented in the geographic area.
Marketing & Public Relations Committee
Co-Chairs: Nick Bandoch, Tri City National Bank; Pete Schneider, Groth Design Group
This committee began in 2019 and provides assistance to the Chapter in developing collateral materials (design and content), an improved social media and digital presence, and a public relations strategy. Members of this committee will be asked to help develop marketing and public relations strategies, contribute talent-based assistance with graphic design, writing, proofing, and creative input. NAIOP members with these skill sets are encouraged to volunteer. In addition, if a member firm is willing to donate the time and expertise of a non-member professional with specific related skills, this would also be gratefully accepted.

This committee develops specific programs to stimulate existing member involvement as well as recruit new members. The committee meets monthly.
Subcommittees include: new member ambassadors, event ambassadors, and new member events.
Committee members are asked to serve on a subcommittee and identify two member prospects per year.

The Programs Committee is responsible for coordinating and evaluating the overall member education and networking programming of the chapter. Members will work to increase awareness and participation in these programs, and conduct seminars targeting specific needs to various industry segments.
The committee meets monthly with additional meetings as needed for event coordination. Members are asked to assist with programming for the organization, and the facilitation of event logistics and sponsorships.
